TIPS TO PLAN YOUR BOAT WEDDING

Answer these questions, to get started

How many guests are you expecting?

Each boat will have a maximum guest allowance. It is the number of people on board the Coast Guard has certified the yacht for. Boats are very limited with space. Our specialty is micro weddings – from 2 to maximum 6 guests, including the couple.

Choose the right date and time

Some of the most popular dates for boat weddings are on winter.  Weather in Florida is very unpredictable and  can change without warning. Summer is the Hurricane Season, you may want to skip July – mid October. Sunsets can be spectacular on the West Coast of Florida and sunset cruises are the most popular. But early mornings can also be a good.

Are you prone to a seasickness?

In most Bay or Gulf cruises, the water is calm enough that seasickness isn’t an issue. However, it’s better to be safe than sorry. Testing the waters; take a short boat trip prior your big day and see how your body will react. There are many over the counter medications to prevent sea sickness. I would recommend a patch, that can be applied 3 hours before the cruise.
